Insurance Repair Help helps homeowners organize insurance-required home repairs and, where available, may share a request with one relevant contractor. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to stop contacting you.
What we collect
When you submit a request, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, and optionally email; details about your home and insurance situation; and any photos you upload. We also collect basic, non-identifying usage data, such as which page you viewed, to understand what is helpful.
How we use it
We use your information to review the request, organize the repair and documentation details, follow up with you, and, where available, offer one relevant contractor connection. By submitting, you consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email about the request.
Instant panel check
Some pages offer an optional automated photo tool that gives you a quick guess about your electrical panel. If you use it, the photo you upload is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for the sole purpose of generating that estimate, and is not used to identify you or build an advertising profile. The result is a preliminary, non-authoritative estimate, not an inspection or a safety determination, and a licensed electrician should always confirm what you have.
How we share it
If you ask us to help with a contractor connection and a relevant option is available, we may share the request with that contractor so they can contact you about the work. We also use service providers needed to host the site, store requests, send internal alerts, and run optional photo tools. We do not sell your information to data brokers, lead aggregators, or advertisers. We may share information if required by law.
Cookies & analytics
We use analytics to understand which pages are helpful and where people need a smoother path. Our default analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless. If Google Analytics is enabled, Google may process basic usage, browser, and device information under its own terms. We do not use analytics to sell your information or build an advertising profile. The staff admin area may use a functional sign-in cookie for our team, never for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you or to delete the information you submitted at any time. Use the contact page, and you can decline non-essential cookies in your browser.
Data retention & security
We keep request information only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. Intake photos and letter screenshots are stored as private objects and accessed through time-limited links by authorized operations staff and configured notification services. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
