Insurance Repair Help (“we”) connects homeowners facing insurance-required home repairs with licensed local contractors. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit a request, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, and (optionally) email; details about your home and insurance situation; and any photos you upload. We also collect basic, non-identifying usage data (such as which page you viewed) to understand what’s helpful.

How we use it

We use your information to connect you with a licensed local contractor who can help with your specific repair, and to follow up about your request. By submitting, you consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email about it.

Instant panel check (automated photo tool)

Some pages offer an optional “instant panel check” that gives you a quick, automated guess about your electrical panel from a photo. If you use it, the photo you upload is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for the sole purpose of generating that estimate, and is not used to identify you or build an advertising profile. The result is a preliminary, non-authoritative estimate — not an inspection or a safety determination — and a licensed electrician should always confirm what you have. Using the tool is entirely optional.

How we share it

We share your request with a licensed local contractor in your area so they can contact you about the work. We do not sell your information to data brokers, lead aggregators, or advertisers. We may share information if required by law.

Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are helpful. It does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile, so no cookie-consent banner is required. The only cookie we set is a functional sign-in cookie for our own staff admin area — never for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you or to delete the information you submitted at any time — just email us at the address below. You can decline non-essential cookies in your browser.

Data retention & security

We keep request information only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
