About Insurance Repair Help
Getting a letter from your insurer that says “replace this or lose your coverage” is stressful. The clock is short, the cost is yours, and it’s hard to know what the underwriter actually needs. Insurance Repair Help exists to make that moment less overwhelming.
What we do
We focus on the specific home defects carriers flag for non-renewal — older electrical panels (Federal Pacific, Zinsco), aluminum branch wiring, polybutylene pipe — and connect you with a licensed local contractor who handles that exact repair. Just as important, we help you assemble the documentation your underwriter typically wants: the pulled permit, the contractor’s invoice, and the passed inspection.
What we’re not
We’re not an insurance company, an agent, or a law firm, and we don’t do the work ourselves. We’re an informational and routing service. Nothing here is insurance or legal advice, and — importantly — fixing a flagged component never guarantees a carrier will reinstate coverage. Carrier rules vary; always confirm with your own insurer.
How we make money
Plainly: we’re paid by the contractor when we connect them with a homeowner who needs the work. You never pay us, and we don’t sell your information to data brokers or lead aggregators. Our incentive is to send the contractor a real, ready homeowner — which only works if we’re straight with you.
